Better than the Others.
Cyberdefender uses it's users to create the early detection network. This network identifies many of the trojans, spywares and malwares often before other softwares even know what hit them. The users, spread the word, quicker than the virus. This network is reliable and dependable. I only had it for 2 months and it caught something. I told my brother to keep a watch for the same virus, then 3 months later he got it, even though he had a different protection system. He has Cyberdefender now!

The thing I have come to appreciate about the CYberdefender Early Detection Center is you set it and forget it. Set up the erarly detection and it finds anything bad before it even gets to your system. You don'
t have to remember to do scans or anything.
Pros: Set up is easy, and you're protected right away! The program walked me through the steps to get everything ready, and it did it's thing.

Complete protection for under $30.
FOr less than $30 (just undder) my computer wass scanned for bad things on it (well, that part was free), then those items were removed. Afterwards, my computer is protected so I don't get any of those things on there again. It runs faster and doesn't lock up anymore. Great investment.

Faster than other scans, and more thorough.
I went for the "free scan" to see what was going on with my computer. I expected it would take forever to look through all of those files on my computer, but it didn't - it zoomed right through them and picked up things on my computer that evidently hadn't been found by the AV program that was on my computer. It prompted me to purchase the full version so it could clean up my system. Since AVg didn't find them, I figured it couldn't fix them either, so I got the package. I feel more confident this software will keep me covered so I don't get these things again.

Better late than never.
So I guess it's better to get protection late than not at all. I caught a nasty virus (fortunately it wasn't one that wiped my computer clean). I wasn't sure if my computer could be saved at all. I did think my computer was going to just be no more good. I bought Cyberdefender and it helped clean it up and get it back to running good again. I've got the Early Detection Center on it now so I don't have to worry about that happening again.
Pros: Can save your computer from catastrophe.
Cons: This is the best program in my opnion.

Protection and Early Detection: a great pair.
CYberdefender is a complete package; with their Early Detection and their anti-virus protection, I know my system is safe and I am protected. With the identity theft I know I can go onto any site and not have to worry about my identity being stoeln. It's just great!
Pros: Download is easy and well worth it. I purhcased all of the options cause I wanted to be sure I was fully protected.
Cons: WIsh the whole package was all together, instead of buying separate. They offer a lot of options , but buying everything is kind of ala carte.

Early Detection and full protection.
I got the early detection to catch anything on the front side, then decided to get the full Cyberdefender package to protect my computer all the way around.
Pros: With the Cyberdefender early detection I know my computer is protected. This antivirus/antispyware protects us from anything that might come from Windows or other programs updates.
Cons: It was very sensitive about some of the things on my computer, but I would rather be overprotected, than under protected.

Cyberdefender Early Detection and Zap em up! .
Not only does the CYberdefender get things before they can hit your system, but the full package get ansything that's already on your computer! It zaps them mean old nasty files off of your system and shows they who's boss.
Pros: When the early detection found somehting on my computer, I upgraded to the full verison and got all of that removed off of my computer. I know I'm protected now, and I'm glad for it.
Cons: When I got the intial notification that my computer was under attack - I freaked out. I didn't hae my computer backed up online with thier online servcie. i didn't lose a whole lot, but I lost plent. I'm glad I listened to my cousin and didn't move into an unprotected neighborhood.

Protection shouldn't be an afterthought..
The Cyberdefender Early Detection Center is just that - it catches things early; before they become a seroius problem to you computer. If I hadn't have had this on my computer, when my computer got a virus, it would have been a major issue. But I did have it; so I was glad. The software told me I had a bug, but it fixed it, so I was good to go. I was just very glad I had it before my system even had a chance to get destroyed.
Pros: Great warning system for bad stuff trying to get in

Work well with my firewall good antivirus.
I have zonealarm free firewall which I liked, and so I downloaded the Cyberdefender free trial and ran it. It found about 25 issues, so I bought the program and removed them. There was no conflict with my firewall and both seem to work well together. I feel with both of them I should be fairly secure.
Pros: The Cyberdefender antivirus software is an easy to use and complete antivirus package. They also do the mycleanpc registry cleaner as well which my mom used and is happy with.
Cons: None that I could see.

Lots of options - got ya covered.
There's a lot of options to choose that lets you customize the protection level on your computer. Whether you choose the Early Detetcion Center, registry cleaner or protection for your identity; there are a wide variety of protection options to suit your needs.
Pros: Fully customizable package to suit your needs
Cons: Website could offer more screen shots, which would give the user an even better look at the benefits.

Complete package.
I downloaded the Early Detection Center, just thinking I needed some basic coverage, but when I got to reading further about all of the extras CYberdefender offers, I made the plunge for the full package. I contacted their help desk the same day I purchased and I kind of figured they would say I had to wait, or because my issue was directly related to their software, that they couldn't help me, but I was wrong. They were very helpful. I feel confident, even after using it for only a month, that they've got me covered - fully!

Best protection package for the price.
Cyberdefender seems to offer the best protection (against antivirus, spyware, malware and even trojans) for the best price with featchers other softwares don't offer as part of their packages. With the full package purchase you get 24/7 help, online and on telephone, 2 gig online storage and even Identity theft protection. The package is a great value, as itchy14me states - priced reasonably at less than $40.
Pros: Complete package to keep your computer protected confidently!
Cons: Most of the "free" antivirus softwares are just scanners and remove the problems after you buy, but they have a good indication of how they work, and that's exactly how this one works.

Cyberdefneder antivirus software work well and is useful.
Cyberdefender antivirus software works well and is useful, and I found it better then Norton. You have to pay for it just like Norton, but unlike Norton it is easier to use, and it seems to find more problems on my system then Norton did. Used thier customer service line, when I got a message, they were very helpful even though the problem was really nothing.

Very easy to use antivirus software.
I downloaded it, and ran it and it found about 98 problems with my computer. I had gotten it cuz a couple of days ago my computer would randomly crash. When the download finished scanning, it told me that I needed to buy the software to remove everything. I later tried Panda, and it did the same thing. So I did some research and found this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PYryt773iH0It shows that someone installed Cyberdefender antivirus software on a brand new laptop, and it didn't find any problems, proving that it is not faking the results. This made me feel better, and it has a money back guarentee so I paid for it. Pros: Cleaned up my computer, easy to use and under stand. Has real technology, not a scam.
Cons: Download is only a trial, need to buy the software to remove the problems it finds. Price is OK.

CYberdefender is a complete package.
The user interface is easy to use and really nice. Cyberdefender is a complete package - it covers everything; protecting my computer from viruses, and even protects me from being faced with identity theft while using my computer.
Pros: - Very affordable at $29.
- Full package that includes virus protection, spyware protection and protection against Trojans
- Publicly traded company on NASDAQ

Good antivirus software.
Downloaded free trial, found about 15 viruses on my home computer that my Panda antivirus didn't detect. To remove viruses I had to buy the complete software but the price was reasonable ($40). Easy to use and nice graphics that show you what the software is doing and removing.
Pros: Simple. Easy to use and comes with call center support.
Cons: Need to buy the software to remove the viruses, but price is not unreasonable.

Not only ineffective but horrible service.
We recently made the mistake of purchasing cyber defender. Not only was the "tech" support just a customer service representative with no knowledge of computers, we were told that our computer was essentially shot but for an easy $300 and five hours they could fix it. CyberDefender advertises that if you cannot fix the problem for the initial $40 you can have you money back.Not only did they NOT credit our account the $40, I spent an hour on the phone with a customer service rep in the billing department who was not only rude but totally incompetent. She gave me three different employee ID numbers and refused to allow me to speak to a supervisor. She also told me it would take 1-2 months for the money to be credited to our account.We will just go through AmEx and have the charge canceled. Ineffective product and horrid customer service.

Great for the whole family!.
I got a really bad virus that crashed my system and damaged drive, even though I had been using AVG on my system for a long time. After my system crashed (and it was too late to save my data), fortunately a friend of mine knew what to do to re-do my hard drive and the setup on my computer. His first step, after getting my computer operable again, he loaded Cyberdefender onto it and it was a good thing he did. No too much later Cyberdefender blocked a website from changing my homepage and stopped a virus attack, so I would say it seems to be working well. About once a week a pop-up would appear on my screen informing me of the benefits of getting the paid version. It seemed like a great deal, and after having my system wiped and losing all of my data, I decided to look at it so I would know I would be completely protected in the future.With the upgrade, you get 2 GB of on-line back-up, which is pretty cool. No more losing everything, even if my computer does bit the dust again. I also really liked that they offer a toll-free phone number and email help line for any computer problem I may have, not just with their software. The help line is 24 hours/day – 7 days / week. The whole upgrade was $100 and for all that, I said deal!!I have been so very happy with it; I'm glad I upgraded. Cyberdefender rocks! I look forward to staying safe for a long long time! Pros: Blocks viruses. 2 GB online backup is cool. Help line available by phone or email 24/7.

Cyberdefender is a good catcher.
I downloaded this software for free and I recommend it to everyone as it is a great place to start. I got Cyberdefender after a virus hit my system and AVG didn't catch it before it infected my system, then it couldn't get rid of it. I read it in a forum that someone said cyberdefender could handle viruses so i got the free version and it worked great.Since then I have been hit twice, but cyberdefender caught them so i ended up getting the upgrade. I wanted the 2gb back-up service and no pop ups - what a bonus.I really like it. Pros: It's easy to use. It scans for free. It warns me when I come across a dangerous site. Great support. The online backup is great - Don't have to worry about loosing anything in a fire or if my computer crashes.
Cons: You ahve to upgrade to remove viruses, but nothing is every completely free.
